We stopped around Jackson to eat at The Pig Out. The best pulled pork I’ve ever had.
We arrived in New Orleans around 4 o’clock. The place we’re staying is very nice. The neighborhood we are in is very diverse. And everything is within walking distance. I’m going for a 3 mile run in a loop tomorrow morning; I bet I pass at least ten restaurants, five cafes, and 4 antique stores. Way cool. The population density and diversity seems ideal for establishing missional community. I’ve already asked Angela if we could move down here. She said, “Sure!” Does she know that I’m serious?
I’ve had the opportunity to have several conversations on a variety of topics in the van ride on the way down. To my wife’s surprise, I haven’t irritated anyone, yet. This is such a grace-filled team. Tomorrow morning the work begins!!!
